Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation.”
It’s practiced lying down with a yoga teacher guiding you. The goal is to completely relax the body while the mind is awake and focused inward.
You will learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where your body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) and the breath balances and becomes quiet.
Practicing Yoga Nidra can improve sleep and memory, reduce stress and anxiety, improve Self Awareness and presence.
This is a one-hour class that will guide you to rest and relaxation.
You will only need to lie comfortably and follow the directions given in the meditation.
